Inspired by Antoine Lavoisier’s principle, ‘Nothing is lost, nothing is created,
everything is transformed,’ we embody regeneration. This philosophy underpins
our approach: in sustainability, as in science, everything can find new life and purpose.

We are circular economy innovators. We revolutionise industry through upcycling
by producing materials, from waste, which outperform the original. Our approach
challenges the status quo and sets a new benchmark for the energy transition.

Our next-generation, low-carbon solutions innovate the following areas:
(i) metals and batteries; (ii) carbon and fuels; (iii) chemicals for industry

Why have we named our approach “Regenerate”?

Our world today teeters on the brink of environmental catastrophe. Despite technological
advances, we face escalating biodiversity loss, pollution, and a slow adoption of
sustainable energy. The fragility of our supply chains has been laid bare by events such as
COVID-19 and geopolitical conflicts, which highlight a stark lack of resilience.

In this context, reducing emissions and fostering sustainable or circular solutions
appears increasingly inadequate. Confronted with escalating environmental damage,
these measures seem like too little, too late.

We propose a radical shift in focus – from mere sustainability to actively regenerating
our planet. We believe that through technology and new business models, industry
can provide a net positive or regenerative impact on the environment.

Our science and philosophy are grounded in three pillars:

1. Impactful Circularity: Beyond circularity, we must assess and optimise our overall impact on Earth.
2. Regenerative Innovation: Sustainability is the floor, not the ceiling. We must regenerate, not sustain.
3. Upcycling as a Keystone: This is the cornerstone of regeneration. By upcycling, we transform waste
into resources which outperform (and thus gradually displace) the primary industry.
